Extracting subcomplexes on nilpotent groups without relying on homogeneous structures
F Tripaldi (University of Leeds)
Abstract: I will present a general construction of subcomplexes on nilpotent Lie groups equipped with a Riemannian metric. The aim is to emphasise how relying on different structures (homogenous and non-homogenous ones) affects the resulting subcomplex. I will then show how particular subcomplexes are better suited than others depending on the geometric setting and the possible applications.
