Gorenstein ideals of codimension 4

Abstract: In this talk I will describe old and new results on free resolutions of Gorenstein ideals of codimension 4. In the first part I will discuss situation in codimension 3 and Kustin-Miller results. Then I will describe new ideas related to spinor structures and connection to the exceptional root systems.
