Extended modularity and deformation of Riemann surfaces
Gabriele Bogo (TU Darmstadt)
Abstract: I will discuss modular-type functions arising from the classical theory of uniformizing differential equations and the deformation of Riemann surfaces. These functions are components of vector-valued modular forms associated to extensions of symmetric tensor representations of Fuchsian groups. In the easiest case, they can be described in terms of derivatives of Eichler integrals and quasimodular forms.
