 \n\nAbstract\nI will discuss modular-type functions arising from the class
 ical theory of uniformizing differential equations and the deformation of 
 Riemann surfaces.\nThese functions are components of vector-valued modular
  forms associated to extensions of symmetric tensor representations of Fuc
 hsian groups.\nIn the easiest case\, they can be described in terms of der
 ivatives of Eichler integrals and quasimodular forms.\n
