Abstract: How can one define the K-theory spectrum of a superalgebra using categories of projective modules? I will discuss two approaches, based respectively on Atiyah–Bott–Shapiro's construction and Karoubi's definition. These approaches are dual and yield equivalent periodic theories. I will explain how super K-theory links algebraic and topological Bott periodicity.
