Abstract: An approximate solution of the boundary-value problem for a semi-empirical model of the far momentumless turbulent wake is constructed matching asymptotic expansion of the solution at the boundary of the wake with the power series expansion of the solution near its axis. A value of the self-similarity parameter of the problem is determined during matching procedure. Maximum error between constructed solution and numerical solution does not exceed $0.3\,\%$.
