Higher order minimal families of rational curves on Fano manifolds

Abstract: The purpose of my talk is to introduce the notion of higher order minimal families of rational curves on Fano manifolds and to explain two results concerning it. One is that Fano manifolds are covered by higher rational manifolds if their Chern characters satisfy some positivity conditions. The other is a classification of embedded Fano manifolds covered by higher linear spaces.
