Perfect matchings and sandwich conjectures of random regular graphs

Abstract: In the first half of the talk I will survey results on the limiting distributions of small and large subgraphs of random regular graphs, and present a recent result on the limiting distribution of the number of perfect matchings. In the second half of the talk, I will talk about the Kim-Vu sandwich conjecture of random regular graphs, recent progress, and new results.
