Double sided actions and non-invariant complex structures on compact Lie groups
Hisashi Kasuya (Osaka Univ.)
Abstract: It is known that every compact Lie group of even dimension admits left-invariant complex structures. The purpose of this talk is to study "non-invariant" complex structures on semisimple compact Lie groups. The main idea of this study is "mixing" the left action and right action.

Virtual seminar on geometry with symmetries
Series comments: Description: Research seminar in Lie group actions in Riemannian geometry.
The seminar meets every other Wednesday. To accommodate most time zones, the time rotates. The Zoom link is sent to the mailing list around 24 hours before each talk. To subscribe to the mailing list, send a message to geometrywithsymmetries@gmail.com requiring it.
