Moduli spaces of flat metrics

Abstract: An intuitive overview will be given of differentiable manifolds that admit a flat Riemannian metric. The notion of moduli spaces of flat metrics and their relationship with Bieberbach groups will then be introduced. Next, an analogous perspective on the study of moduli spaces of flat metrics on orbifolds will be presented, and finally, some results will be discussed.
