Abstract: I will give a survey of how methods from harmonic analysis, particularly those related to Fourier restriction theory, can be used in spectral and scattering theory. Applications include eigenvalue estimates for Schrödinger operators with complex potentials and almost sure scattering for random lattice Schrödinger operators in 3d with slowly decaying potential.
