Abstract: Parabolic induction and restriction play an important role in the (finite-dimensional) representation theory of extended affine type A Hecke algebras, so it is natural to look for a categorical analog in the birepresentation theory of extended affine type A Soergel bimodules. In my talk, which is based on a forthcoming paper with V. Miemietz and P. Vaz, I will sketch such an analog for a maximal parabolic.
