Newforms for cuspidal representations

Abstract: We will review the theory of newforms for cuspidal representations of p-adic general linear groups of Jacquet--Piatetski-Shapiro--Shalika, and Matringe. Then compare them with the explicit functions of Paskunas-Stevens for cuspidal representations in special cases. This is joint work in progress with Johannes Girsch.
