Abstract: In this talk I will explain how to use Lie theory to describe the facets of a maximal prime cone in a type A tropical complete flag variety. The face lattice of this cone encodes degeneration structures in Lie algebra, quiver Grassmannians and module categories of quivers. This talk bases on different joint works with (subsets of) G. Cerulli-Irelli, E. Feigin, G. Fourier, M. Gorsky, P. Littelmann, I. Makhlin and M. Reineke, as well as some work in progress.
