Finite Symmetries Of Field Theories From TQFT

Abstract: I will review some aspects of the paper ``Topological Field Theory In Quantum Field Theory,'' written with Dan Freed and Constantin Teleman. I will review some aspects of finite homotopy theories, which form the main source of examples in the paper, and attempt to give a talk complementary to the several excellent talks by Freed and Teleman already available online.
