Lattice homology and q-series invariants of 3-manifolds
Ross Akhmechet (Columbia University)
Abstract: I will discuss joint work with Peter Johnson and Slava Krushkal that unifies and extends two invariants of negative definite plumbed 3-manifolds: lattice homology, due to NĂ©methi, which is isomorphic to Heegaard Floer homology, and the Gukov-Pei-Putrov-Vafa Z-hat q-series, which recovers WRT quantum invariants. Both theories have extensions to plumbed knot complements, and I will also discuss joint work with Peter Johnson and Sunghyuk Park in the knot complement setting, including a surgery formula.

Richmond Geometry Meeting 2024
Series comments: The Richmond Geometry Meeting will focus on emergent research topics while bringing together researchers in algebraic geometry, low-dimensional topology, and mathematical physics. In summer 2024, we will highlight developments in Geometric Topology and Moduli.
