Analytic functionals, conformal dispersion relation and Polyakov bootstrap

Abstract: I will describe a novel analytic approach to the conformal bootstrap in CFTs in general dimension. The approach is based on the construction of a certain basis of linear functionals acting on the conformal crossing equation. The technique is particularly useful in holographic CFTs, where it directly constrains the low-energy physics. I will explain how our approach is related to the conformal dispersion relation and Polyakov bootstrap. The talk will be based on arxiv.org/pdf/1910.12855.pdf
