Abstract: For a while, it was an open question whether a Lagrangian cobordism with a non-empty positive end can be decomposed into a concatenation of elementary pieces: traces of Legendrian isotopies, isolated standard-unknot births inducing Lagrangian 0-handle attachments, and Legendrian surgeries inducing Lagrangian 1-handle attachments. We answer this question negatively. This is joint work with Georgios Dimitroglou Rizell.
