Dynamics of Ostrowski skew-product: Limit laws and Hausdorff dimensions

Abstract: We discuss a dynamical study of the Ostrowski skew-product map in the context of inhomogeneous Diophantine approximation. We plan to outline the setup/ strategy based on transfer operator analysis and applications in arithmetic of number fields (joint with Valérie Berthé).
