Abstract: A GKM manifold is a smooth manifold endowed with a certain type of Torus action. To every GKM manifolds one assigns a combinatorial object, the GKM graph, which encodes important properties of the torus action. We discuss how far this object determines the topology and the smooth structure of a GKM manifold. This is joint work with Oliver Goertsches and Leopold Zoller.
