A Local Singularity Analysis for the Ricci flow
Gianmichele Di Matteo (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)
Abstract: In this talk, I will describe a refined local singularity analysis for the Ricci flow developed jointly with R. Buzano. The key idea is to investigate blow-up rates of the curvature tensor locally, near a singular point. Then I will show applications of this theory to Ricci flows with scalar curvature bounded up to the singular time.

Online Seminar "Geometric Analysis"
Series comments: We discuss recent trends related to geometric analysis in a broad sense. The general idea is to solve geometric problems by means of advanced tools in analysis. We will include a wide range of topics such as geometric flows, curvature functionals, discrete differential geometry, and numerical simulation.
