Abstract: Generalized metric spaces of various sorts have come up in connection with the study of homogeneous structures (classification, Ramsey theoretic properties). I'll discuss examples studied by Sauer, Conant, Braunfeld, Hubička, Konečný, Nešetřil, and others. See, notably, Konečný's master's thesis (arXiv).
