Abstract: We will recall the notion of compact and hereditary families of finite subsets of some cardinal κ and their corresponding combinatorial Banach spaces. We present a combinatorial version of Banach-Stone theorem, which leads naturally to a notion of isomorphism between families. Our main result shows that different families on ω are not isomorphic, if we assume them to be spreading. We also discuss the difference between the countable and the uncountable setting. This is a joint work with Claribet Piña.
