Abstract: It is well known that in stable theories, we can understand finite dimensional types in terms of minimal types. One such method is called a semiminimal analysis. We show that the multiplicity with which a minimal type arises in a semiminimal analysis for a given type is independent of the choice of semiminimal analysis.
