From discrete representation to continuous representations

Daisie Rock (KU Leuven)

Tue Sep 8, 06:00-07:00 (7 days ago)

Abstract: In this presentation we will consider quivers and cyclic groups as well as motivation for the study of both. We will then talk about continuous versions called thread quivers and circular groups, respectively, as well as motivation for the continuous versions. This talk will be mainly intuitive with a focus on general understanding instead of a deep understanding of a particular result. If time and interest permit, we will more closely examine a few recent results with more precision.
