The Congruence Subgroup Problem for groups of inner type A_n

Abstract: This talk will comprise of a short introduction to the Congruence subgroup problem as reformulated by Serre, a review of the developments of the problem for groups of inner type A_n and an approach for tackling the problem in a specific case.
