Bounded generation in anisotropic linear group

Abstract: Using Diophantine results from the theory of integral points in multiplicative tori, we characterize anisotropic linear groups in characteristic 0 having bounded generation. (Joint work with P. Corvaja, J. Ren and A. Rapinchuk.)
