Abstract: The presentation aims to demonstrate the ERP techniques and how they allow us to understand students' cognitive characteristics that cannot be identified in traditional research methods. The presentation focuses on reporting the characteristics of high school students when they solve different mathematics problems (function and geometry). Additionally, we will also illustrate the similarities and differences in brain activities performed by giftedness and general high school students.
