HTTPSG
Josh Tan
Abstract: Joshua Tan presents a working document on a speculative governance spec that builds on HTTPS, called HTTPSG (hypertext transfer protocol secure governance). HTTPSG adds governance data to URLs which provides them information about their rights as a user of an online service.

Audience: researchers in the topic
Series comments: Metagov invites members of Metagov and their collaborators to attend the weekly Govbase Labs lab meetings.
The meetings are led by the number of Metagov research directors, currently Joshua Tan, Ellie Rennie, and Michael Zargham. The meetings cover all active Metagov projects, but especially those that involve the production of any qualitative or quantitative data sets. Typically, each meeting begins with a 5-minute async update on projects, followed by a 10-minute presentation by a lab member on a Metagov project.
These lab meetings are intended for members of Metagov and their collaborators. If you are a member of the public and would like to attend one of these meetings, please first join the Metagov Slack and introduce yourself in the #govbase channel.
