Revisiting and extending Poisson-Nijenhuis structures

16-Nov-2021, 16:30-17:30 (2 years ago)

Abstract: Poisson-Nijenhuis structures arise in various settings, such as the theory of integrable systems, Poisson-Lie theory and quantization. By revisiting this notion from a new viewpoint, I will show how it can be naturally extended to the realm of Dirac structures, with applications to integration results in (holomorphic) Poisson geometry.
