The Cantor-Bendixson rank of the Grigorchuk group

Abstract: The space of subgroups of a group has a natural Polish topology and understanding this space can help to understand the group. In this talk, we will consider the Cantor-Bendixson derivative and rank for the space of subgroups of the Grigorchuk group, using it to stratify the subgroups of this group. This is a joint work with Phillip Wesolek.
