Abstract: This long standing open problem has been recently solved in joint work with Dan Cristofaro-Gardiner and Sobhan Seyfaddini. I will present some background and the main ideas that lead to the proof. It is based on tools from symplectic topology and more precisely on a theory due to Hutchings, called Periodic Floer Homology.
