The Combinatorial Method for Stopping Time Arguments
Adi Glücksam (Northwestern University)
Abstract: In this talk I will present a refinement of the combinatorial technique used by Jones and Makarov in '95. This method can be used for stopping time arguments in different settings. I will describe the method, and present two applications that were already known, and one new application. Moreover, I will give an example showing this method is optimel. Lastly, I will discuss future directions and open problems.
The talk is based on work in progress.
