Abstract: In this talk, we will give a short introduction to Nevanlinna theory for meromorphic mappings into projective varieties. Our main aim is to present a second main theorem for meromorphic mappings with arbitrary families of hypersurfaces in projective varieties. This result is a generalization of the second main theorem for the mappings with families of hypersurfaces in subgeneral position.
