Transcendental Julia Sets of Minimal Hausdorff Dimension

Abstract: We discuss an approach to the construction of entire functions with Julia sets having minimal Hausdorff dimension. This talk will not assume a background in complex dynamics. This talk is based on joint work with Jack Burkart.
