Rationality of Fano threefolds over non-closed fields

Abstract: In the first part of the talk I will review what is known about rationality of Fano threefolds over an algebraically closed field of zero characteristic.

In the second part I will switch to the case of non-closed fields (still of characteristic zero) and discuss our recent results with Yuri Prokhorov in this direction.
