Amplitudes as vertex algebra correlators

Abstract: I will talk about joint work with Natalie Paquette, which demonstrates how certain scattering amplitudes of a 4 dimensional gauge theory can be computed as correlation functions of a vertex algebra. This will be aimed at a mathematical audience, and I will attempt to define any unfamiliar concepts.
