The geography of moduli spaces of torsion free sheaves
Charles Almeida (Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG))
Abstract: In this talk I will describe new irreducible components of the moduli space of rank 2 semistable torsion free sheaves on the 3-dimensional projective space, whose generic point corresponds to non-locally free sheaves. As an application, I will compute the number of irreducible components of the moduli space of torsion free sheaves, with first, second and third Chern classes equal to -1, 2 and 2 respectively. Additionaly, I will give an idea of how to prove that this moduli space is connected. This is a joint work with Marcos Jardim and Alexander S. Tikhomirov.
