Moduli spaces of parabolic Higgs bundles

Abstract: We are interested in studying moduli spaces of parabolic Higgs bundles on (punctured) curves. A ramified cover between curves defines a map between the corresponding moduli spaces, and we will discuss the behavior of this map with respect to the Hitchin fibration. This is joint work in progress with Frank Loray.
