Abstract: In this talk I will first introduce Grothendieck’s function sheaf dictionary and show you how we can use it to understand perverse sheaves. Then, we will use the dictionary to see how the Fourier transform functor acts on some examples on the geometric side of Vogan’s persepective of the local Langlands correspondence.
