| Lecture held in Online only. |
Abstract: Prof. Peter Keevash is a leading mathematician whose work has had a profound impact on combinatorics and related areas. He is widely known for his groundbreaking results on the existence of combinatorial designs, resolving longstanding open problems such as the existence of Steiner systems for all admissible parameters. His work has introduced powerful new methods at the intersection of combinatorics, probability, and algebra. In this talk, he will discuss combinatorial designs, including recent advances, key ideas behind their construction, and their broader significance within modern combinatorics. See the blog announcement functor.network/user/3333/entry/1991 of this talk for more details.
