Abstract: The seal (TM) will guide you on a journey from stochastic processes on the unit sphere, via solving SPDEs using spectral methods, all the way to a variety of shape-shifting stochastic surfaces. Together, we will explore how such surfaces arise from their building blocks and what we can learn about their shapes and shape-shifting ("Hölder regularity"). Let yourself be fascinated by the wide range of applications of these shape-shifters.

So sit back, relax and enjoy an afternoon of amazing imagery and seizure-inducing videos!
