Comments: I will report on recent work concerning motives in rigid analytic geometry. In particular, I would like to discuss a vast generalisation of an old theorem of mine describing the category of rigid analytic motives over a non Archimedean field of equi-characteristic zero in terms of algebraic motives over its residue field. The generalisation is to an arbitrary rigid analytic base. This is joint work with M. Gallauer and A. Vezzani.
