Random cubical complexes
Matthew Kahle (Ohio State)
Abstract: Various models of random simplicial complex have been studied extensively over the past 15 years or so. We will discuss two models for random cubical complex, and what we know so far about their expected topological behavior:
* 2-dimensional plaquettes in a 4-dimensional torus. This is joint work with Paul Duncan and Ben Schweinhart. arxiv.org/abs/2011.11903
* Random 2-dimensional subcomplexes of an $n$-dimensional cube. This is joint work with Elliot Paquette and Érika Roldán. arxiv.org/abs/2001.07812
