Semi-classical analysis on H-type groups
Clotilde Fermanian Kammerer (Université Paris Est)
Abstract: We present in this talk recent results obtained in collaboration with Véronique Fischer (University of Bath, UK) aiming at developing a semi-classical approach in sub-Laplacian geometry. In the context of H-type groups, we describe how to construct a semi-classical pseudodifferential calculus compatible with the Lie group structure and we discuss the associated notion of semi-classical measures, together with some of their properties. We will discuss an application to control developed with Cyril Letrouit (ENS Paris).

Comments: Physical session in Paris --> moved to virtual session due to new lockdown in France
Series comments: The "Sub-Riemannian seminars" are the union of the "Séminaire de géométrie et analyse sous-riemannienne" (held in Paris since 2011) and the "International Sub-Riemannian Seminars", which were born in spring 2020 as a reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new format will gather every 3 weeks on average, alternating between these types of sessions:
- physical session in Paris (Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions), also transmitted online on Zoom.
- fully online session on Zoom.
- special session hosted physically somewhere else, and transmitted online.
