Coupling Holographic Universes

Abstract: Holographic duality describes coupled AdS Universes by the weak and/or localized coupling of CFTs. After a brief introduction, I will discuss two recent results in this context: (1) the top down embedding of massive gravity in string theory, and (2) the transfer of energy across a conformal interface.
