Abstract: I will first describe how we develop a systematic formalism to compute correlation functions of massless scalar fields in de Sitter space. Time permitting, I will then show how, using a combination of numerical techniques as well as techniques from differential geometry, we are shedding light on how inflation starts out of inhomogenous initial conditions.
