Abstract: A brief survey will be given of the classification of simple separable amenable C* algebras which are Jiang-Su stable and (possibly redundant) satisfy the Universal Coefficient Theorem (UCT). There are many examples of such algebras, but note that, if a given simple UCT separable amenable C* algebra is not known to be stable under tensoring with the Jiang-Su algebra, this is assured just by tensoring it anyway with this algebra. Furthermore, the invariant can be formulates in a way that is insensitive to this operation. (Of course, it is only complete after tenderization).
