Free group actions on products of spheres

Abstract: One of the engaging problems in the field of algebraic topology is the classification of group actions on manifolds. In this talk, we consider free finite group actions on a product of spheres. We will discuss the upper bound for the rank of the group that can act freely on this product by using algebraic methods.
