Geometric inverse problems arising from geophysics

Abstract: I will describe how geometrization of some seismological problems leads to geometric inverse problems, focusing on broader ideas rather than specific details or theorems. The talk will mostly revolve around seismology, modelling, PDEs, differential geometry, and inverse problems.
